How We Can Help

Services We Provide

Parenting Classes

Beyond Hard Places is a 10-week class for parents and caregivers. This class focuses on understanding the unique needs of a child who struggles with behavioral challenges and how to meet those needs, deepen the relationship connection, and teach better behavior strategies.

Through this class, parents come to understand why a child’s actions and reactions to everyday life situations can seem so unpredictable and inappropriate.

Once this foundation of understanding has been established, parents are able to build on it and create an atmosphere for positive learning and effective correction while reducing the number of negative interactions with the child.

Parenting support groups

Living Beyond the Hard Places is a monthly support group for parents and caregivers who have taken the Beyond Hard Places class and desire to continue learning and connecting with other parents in similar situations.

Each month, participants are able to discuss their triumphs and their struggles, as well as their wealth of knowledge and experience in related areas of discussion wrapped in an atmosphere of felt-safety, acceptance and understanding.
